Academic Committee Chaired by Dr. Salah Faraj Approves Ph.D. Research Plan of Idris Abdulrahman

An academic committee chaired by Dr. Salah Ahmed Faraj, the head of the Department of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at the Islamic University of Minnesota, has approved the research plan submitted by the researcher Idris Abdulrahman Olamiliken to fulfill the requirements for obtaining a doctoral degree in the Fundamentals of Jurisprudence.

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota had previously held a seminar session on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 10:00 PM Makkah time, to discuss Idris' research plan titled "The Fundamental Differences between Juristic Preference (Istihsan) and Unrestricted Public Interest (Al-Maslahah Al-Mursalah) and Their Applications in Inheritance Issues."

The discussion committee, in addition to its chairman Dr. Salah Faraj, included Dr. Mubarak Saud and Dr. Mohammed Amin.
