Scientific Committee Chaired by Prof. Hanan Obaid Approves Research Plan for Doctoral Degree

A scientific committee chaired by Professor Hanan Sobhy Obaid, the head of the Graduate Studies Department at the College of Media at the Islamic University of Minnesota - main center, has confirmed the approval of the research plan submitted by researcher Samir Ibrahim Waheed Al-Azawi to fulfill the requirements for obtaining a doctoral degree from the Digital Media Department.

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota had previously held a seminar session on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 10:00 PM Makkah time, to discuss the research plan titled "The Impact of Employing Artificial Intelligence Technology in Developing the Efficiency of Media Leaders and Journalists: An Analytical Survey Study on Al Jazeera Satellite Channel."

The seminar committee, in addition to its chairperson, Professor Hanan Sobhi Obaid, consisted of the membership of Professor Dr. Abdulsalam Sayed Al-Wahati, the College of Media Dean, as the academic advisor, and Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed Etbiqa, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulmohsen Hamed Aqeela.
