Doctoral Plans Approved by Committee Headed by Dr. Alaa Husni


 

A scientific committee from the Department of Judiciary and Islamic Politics, headed by Dr. Alaa Husni Mousa, the Head of the Department, approved the research plan submitted by student Hawwa Abdullah Abdu Maresh Al-Majidi. Her research will conduct a comparative study between Islamic jurisprudence rulings and Yemeni and Saudi laws regarding judicial accountability for medical errors and its role in safeguarding rights.

The Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, Main Center, held a seminar session on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 9:00 PM Mecca Time, to discuss the aforementioned research plan prepared by Hawa as part of fulfilling the requirements for obtaining a doctorate from the College of Sharia and Law.

The discussion committee that approved the plan consisted of Dr. Alaa Hassani Mousa as the chair, along with Dr. Mohammed Abdulhamid Al-Shaqldi and Dr. Omar Mohammed Jabaji as members.

In the same context, another scientific committee from the same department, chaired by Dr. Alaa Hassani Mousa, approved the research plan submitted by student Ahmed Ibrahim Muhammad Ibrahim. His research will conduct a comparative study between Islamic jurisprudence and the Saudi system regarding the rulings of the Electronic Contract Council.

This committee consisted of Dr. Alaa as the chair, along with Dr. Muzahem Tariq Al-Mustafa, Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, and Dr. Basel Omar Al-Majali as members.
