Khalid Omar Secures Approval for His PhD Research Plan

Researcher Khaled Mohammed Omar has secured approval for his PhD research plan in comparative law, following a seminar session held by the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, Main Center, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. 

The seminar session was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Shoaib Abdulmaqsoud, Head of the Law Department, and attended by Dr. Hussein Hassan Al-Hamwi and Dr. Ihab Talat Abdulkhaleq.

The research plan prepared by researcher Khalid Mohammed Omar addressed a comparative legal study between the Ethiopian systems and Islamic jurisprudence, focusing on the responsibility of the constitutional state regarding the right to non-discrimination on the basis of religion.

This step comes as part of the researcher's fulfillment of the requirements for obtaining a PhD degree from the College of Sharia and Law.
