Researcher Fouad Al-Shahri Obtains PhD Degree
Researcher Fouad Hamdan Mohsen Al-Shahri obtained his PhD degree from the Islamic University of Minnesota after discussing his thesis titled "Obstacles to Family Reform in the Age of Technology and Ways to Overcome Them" on Wednesday, Dhu al-Hijjah 6, 1445 AH, corresponding to June 12, 2024.
The discussion committee was chaired by the university president, Professor Walid bin Idris Al-Menisi, and included Dr. Abdulmuttalib Al-Qurashi from the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Studies at King Khalid University (external examiner), Dr. Sami bin Salem bin Marzouq Al-Saeedi from the Faculty of Judicial Studies at Umm Al-Qura University (external examiner), and Dr. Ali bin Saeed Al-Asmari from the faculty of the Islamic University of Minnesota (internal examiner).
The thesis dealt with the obstacles to family reform in the age of technology and ways to overcome them. The committee members praised the thesis for its scientific and practical importance and decided to award the researcher a PhD degree with an excellent grade.
