Doctoral Degree in Arabic Language Awarded to Abdulghani Fareh
A student of Arabic language, Abdulghani Ali Fareh, has been awarded a doctoral degree in Arabic Language, following the successful defense of his dissertation titled "The Orientalists' Stance on the Originality of Arabic Grammar - A Critical Grammatical Study".
This decision was made by a academic committee chaired by Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Awf, Head of the Arabic Language Department at the Islamic University of Minnesota.
The public defense of the dissertation took place on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 10:00 PM Makkah time, under the supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, College of Arts and Humanities - Department of Arabic Language and Literature.
The defense committee consisted of: Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Awf as the chair, Dr. Asmaa Al-Bashir Muhammad as the supervisor, Dr. Isa Hassan Abdulhameed Abu Sarour as the internal examiner, and Dr. Ahmed Abdulshafi Zahrani as the external examiner.
