Khaled Saleh Awarded PhD in Arabic Literature
Khaled Mohammed Saleh has been awarded a PhD in Arabic Literature from the Islamic University of Minnesota, following a public defense of his dissertation titled "Ambition and Fall in the Poetry of Al-Mutanabbi."
The dissertation was supervised by Dr. Ibrahim Mustafa Al-Dahoun, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Islamic University of Minnesota. The defense committee was chaired by Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Abu Zaid, Head of the Department of Arabic Language.
The committee also included Dr. Omar Saleh Saqr Shuqairat, a faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, and Dr. Saad Mohammed Atiya Hassan, former Assistant Professor of Literature and Rhetoric at the College of Basic Education in Kuwait.
The committee unanimously decided to award Khaled Mohammed Saleh a PhD in Arabic Literature, in recognition of his outstanding research efforts.
