Significant Increase in New Students at University
There has been a significant increase in the number of new students at the university for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024. A total of 384 male and female students have enrolled.
In the doctoral program, there are 48 new students, with 15 in the College of Sharia and Law, 12 in the College of Education Sciences, 11 in the College of Islamic Studies, 6 in the College of Economics and Business Administration, 2 in the College of Arts, and 2 in the College of Media.
In terms of departments, the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles has the highest number of new students with 7. The Department of Quran and its Sciences and the Department of Business Administration follow with 5 students each. Other departments have varying numbers ranging from 1 to 3 students.
The master's program has seen an increase as well, with 81 new students. The College of Islamic Studies, the College of Sharia and Law, and the College of Education have 16 new students each. The College of Economics and Business Administration has 15 new students, the College of Arts and Humanities has 9, the College of Computing and Information Technology has 5, and the College of Media has 4.
In the bachelor's program, there are 255 new students. The College of Computing and Information Technology has the highest number with 87 students, followed by the College of Economics and Business Administration with 58 students, the College of Islamic Studies with 31 students, the College of Arts and Humanities with 27 students, the College of Sharia and Law with 24 students, the College of Education with 17 students, and the College of Media with 14 students.
The Business Administration and Networks and Cybersecurity departments have the highest number of new students in the bachelor's program, with 70 students each. Other departments have varying numbers ranging from around 10 to 55 students.
