The Research and Studies Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota (Main Center) organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled “The Golden Methodology for Preparing Academic Research,” as part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of scientific research and enhance the skills of researchers and graduate students.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Younis Hameeda, Professor of Business Administration at the university, who presented, through a scientific and methodological approach, the latest approved foundations for preparing academic research. The workshop focused on building professional research thinking and equipping participants with sound scientific research tools in accordance with established academic standards.
The workshop was held over two sessions: the first on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, and the second on Friday, December 5, 2025, during the evening hours from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (Makkah Time). The sessions were moderated by Dr. Shaimaa Khattab, Director of the Research and Studies Center, and her deputy, Dr. Mousa Al-Dhou.
The program combined theoretical and practical components. The second session focused on practical applications, covering statistical analysis and results discussion, academic writing and documentation standards, in addition to a comprehensive applied exercise.
The workshop targeted graduate students, early-career researchers, academics, and individuals interested in developing research skills. It witnessed active participation and rich scientific discussions, reflecting the importance of its themes and the strong interest of attendees.
This workshop comes within the framework of the Research and Studies Center’s commitment to supporting researchers, building their research capacities, and contributing to the enhancement of the quality of scientific research at the university
