Faculty of Sharia and Law Holds Meeting
The Faculty of Sharia and Law at the Islamic University of Minnesota, Main Center, held a meeting on Saturday, July 6, 2024, headed by Dr. Alaa Husni Musa, Head of the Department of Judiciary and Islamic Politics.
Dr. Alaa welcomed the attendees at the beginning of the meeting and reminded them of the official start of the first semester of the new academic year 2024-2025, which will begin next Saturday, July 3, 2024. Dr. Omar Mohammed, responsible for plans and curricula in the Department of Judiciary and Islamic Politics, then spoke briefly about the curricula related to the first semester.
During the meeting, Dr. Alaa, on behalf of the Department of Judiciary and Islamic Politics, congratulated student Abdulkarim Fadheen on his graduation from the doctoral stage after discussing his thesis, which he completed under the supervision of Dr. Anas Ezz Al Din Jarab. In this context, the attendees discussed some research plans currently being discussed in the Department of Judiciary, and Dr. Mohammed Jamal was appointed as a supervisor for student Abdulquddous in the doctoral stage.
Dr. Alaa thanked Dr. Asmaa for reminding him of the college magazine and her proposal for supplementary research. He also clarified that the certificate of experience - after requesting it from the Head of Department - is due to anyone who has taught for three consecutive or intermittent semesters. He sent a link to certificates of appreciation to faculty members who wish to obtain them and opened a discussion on the file of training, development, and courses that the department can offer or benefit from. He also pointed out the need to attend the technical qualification course presented by engineer Mohammed Abduljawad.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Alaa Husni Musa thanked all the attendees, wishing them success and guidance, and the educational process great success in the first semester.
