Abu Bakr Hussein Earns PhD in Jurisprudence

Researcher Abu Bakr Hussein Mahmoud has earned his PhD in Jurisprudence and its Foundations from the College of Sharia and Law, following a public defense held at the Islamic University of Minnesota. The defense took place on Friday, November 29, 2024, where he presented his thesis titled "The Preferences of Imam Ibn Younis Al-Sicili Al-Maliki in Family Jurisprudence through His Book Al-Jami' Li-Masail Al-Mudawwana – A Comparative Jurisprudential Study."

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Suad Mohammed Beltaji, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Salah Faraj and Dr. Mubarak Saud. This achievement reflects the academic excellence of the researcher and enhances his contributions to the field of jurisprudence.
