Appointment of Al-Shaqaldi as Head of  Department of Judiciary and Sharia Policy

Doctor Omar Ahmed Al-Maqrami, Vice President of the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, issued a decision appointing Dr. Mohammed Al-Shaqaldi as Head of the Department of Judiciary and Sharia Policy at the College of Sharia and Law, succeeding Dr. Alaa Hosni. The decision was made on Friday, March 14, 2025, as part of efforts to strengthen academic leadership within the university.

Dr. Al-Maqrami sent a congratulatory message to Dr. Al-Shaqaldi, describing him as "worthy of the responsibility" and praying for his success and guidance in his new role to continue the journey of excellence and contribution in this blessed department. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Alaa Hosni for his outstanding efforts and significant contributions to the Department of Judiciary and Sharia Policy since its establishment, noting that Dr. Hosni had nominated Dr. Al-Shaqaldi to take over this responsibility after him.
