Law Department Holds Regular Meeting to Discuss Academic Affairs

The Department of Law at the College of Sharia and Law, Islamic University of Minnesota – Main Center – held its regular meeting on Thursday evening, September 25, 2025, chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdulmaqsoud, Head of the Department, at 10:00 p.m. Makkah time.

The meeting addressed several key academic and administrative issues, most notably the review and accuracy of grading records, preparations for final examinations through supportive mechanisms for students, and the adoption of faculty recommendations for the exam period. The department also approved the course distribution plan for the second semester, ensuring fairness and transparency while accommodating faculty schedules to maintain smooth academic operations and avoid course withdrawal or cancellation cases.

Attendees emphasized their commitment to providing an enabling academic environment that ensures the success of the educational process and enhances the quality of outcomes, praying for continued success in serving the mission of knowledge and research.

It is noteworthy that this meeting comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality and improve academic performance in line with the university’s vision and mission.
