College Council Meeting Emphasizes Preparations and Journal Publication

Dr. Muzahim Mustafa, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, held a routine meeting of the College Council with the attendance of all members on November 1st. The meeting focused on discussing the preparations of the college for the second semester.

The dean affirmed that the three departments, along with their heads and council members, have made thorough preparations for the teaching process. This includes curriculum development, distribution to specialized professors, and scheduling appropriate timings for both professors and students. These preparations have been submitted to the relevant technical administration, and a timetable has been set for each stage.

Dr. Mustafa also highlighted the efforts of department heads and their deputies in monitoring the progress of the educational process, evaluating performance, and delivering lessons and educational presentations. Meetings were held with faculty members to discuss challenges, propose solutions, and present demands and suggestions to the college administration.

Regarding the Artificial Intelligence Conference, the dean announced that it has been postponed in collaboration with Taheri Mohammed University in Algeria, where he was selected to be the executive director of the conference. The postponement was due to the circumstances faced by our people in Gaza. The dean clarified that the research papers are ready and peer-reviewed, and the arrangements from his university are also in place. Currently, communication is underway with the Algerian university to work on rescheduling the conference at a later date.

As for the college journal, the dean stated that numerous research papers have been received and distributed to reviewers for evaluation. Preparation is currently underway for the release of the first issue of the journal soon.
