Introduction to the University and its Establishment: The Islamic University of Minnesota, a leading educational and academic institution, was established in 2006 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, by the Islamic Jurisprudence Council of Minnesota (IJCM). Founded on pure scientific principles, its aim is to enhance scientific research and educational excellence in both religious and non-religious disciplines. It is not affiliated with any party, group, ideological stream, or political entity. The university adopts two systems of education:
- On-campus education: Conducted at the university's headquarters in Minneapolis, the capital of the state.
- Distance learning system: Through the university's electronic platforms that enable students to attend classes remotely, utilizing modern programs and advanced mechanisms ensuring interactive engagement between students and professors through audio and visual means in all aspects of the educational process. The university grants academic degrees, including Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees, in various educational programs available, certified by the State Secretary, Notary Public, and the U.S. Department of State for its graduates.
