Islamic University of Minnesota Welcomes Students from 37 Different Nationalities, Reflecting Global Diversity
The Media Center of the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main center has released official statistics revealing a wide diversity of nationalities among the new students enrolled in the second semester, totaling 333 students.
According to the statistics, the students' nationalities span across the three continents of Asia, Africa, and Europe, as well as North America, including the geographical region known as the Caribbean or Central America.
From Indonesia and the Philippines in Asia to the Dominican Republic and the United States in North and Central America, and from Albania and Italy in Europe to Nigeria and Ghana in Africa, the statistics show that the new students represent 37 different nationalities from around the world. Among them, the majority belong to 16 Asian nationalities and 16 African nationalities, while the least represented are two European nationalities and two North American nationalities. The statistics also reveal that there are 17 Arab nationalities compared to 20 non-Arab nationalities.
What stands out in these statistics is the vast geographical diversity encompassing a wide range of student nationalities, reflecting the success of the main center of the Islamic University of Minnesota in achieving global leadership in distance education.
