Graduation Awareness Event Enhances Artistic and Research Awareness
An important awareness event was held for graduating students at the Islamic University of Minnesota on Monday, February 26, 2024. The event was attended by the Director of Student Affairs, Mr. Suleiman Maqboul, and the Director of Development and Quality Unit, Dr. Fatima Jumaa Al-Wahsh, with the aim of raising the artistic and research awareness of the students.
At the beginning of the event, Mr. Suleiman Maqboul delivered a speech to the students highlighting the importance of speed in completing tasks and taking matters seriously and responsibly. He also explained the graduation process and the steps involved, such as the necessary acknowledgments and approvals.
Dr. Fatima Al-Wahsh, on the other hand, discussed the educational and academic aspects of graduation research and alerted students to common mistakes they might make. She provided a practical example of an excellent applied research, explaining its components from start to finish, to clarify what is expected from the students in this regard.
Dr. Fatima Jumaa praised some of the research conducted by graduating students, such as Azzam Al-Shami and Qasim Mawloud, describing them as exemplary. In conclusion, she warned students against approaching possible errors during the preparation of their graduation research and emphasized the importance of caution and accuracy in this process.
It is worth mentioning that this awareness event is the third of its kind held at the university, with reports about the previous events published on the official website of the university. This event was organized with the aim of providing graduating students with necessary information and guiding them to succeed in their graduation research and improve their academic and research abilities.
