General Meeting for New Students

The Deanship of Student Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, Main Center, held a general meeting on Thursday evening, March 21, 2024 for new undergraduate and graduate students.

In this meeting, the Director of the Deanship, Dr. Zainab Basiouni, gave a welcoming speech to the new students, and she and Ms. Omaima Adel, Director of Graduate Student ffairs, answered all the students' inquiries.

The Director of Undergraduate Student Affairs, Mr. Suleiman Maqbool, also discussed the new students on various issues related to the university, such as introducing them to the faculties and their number, the study system, the number of semesters and years, the postponement, change and withdrawal system, studying via Zoom, the electronic portal, the electronic application, the university's WhatsApp groups, the curriculum, the examination system, the absence system, accreditations, activities, honors, arranging student affairs responsibilities, and university ethics.

This meeting aims to give new students a comprehensive understanding of the university and provide them with the necessary information.
