Official Report: Achievements of the Undergraduate Student Affairs Unit
The news management obtained a copy of an official report prepared by the Undergraduate Student Affairs Unit, which is part of the Deanship of Students Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota's main center. The report highlights the accomplishments of the unit during the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024.
The 21-page report consists of six different sections that cover statistics, preparations, internal organizational structure, collaboration with other units, strategies for attendance and disciplinary actions, exam scheduling, and the effectiveness of recognition programs.
The first section is the most significant, as it provides valuable statistics and information that shed light on a portion of the educational process at the university through numerical data. According to the report, the number of courses offered in the undergraduate programduring the second semester was 159, with 137 active faculty members in this stage. The total number of registered students in active coursework was 1308, including 220 students in their final year or graduation semester.
The report also mentioned that nine students were dismissed due to excessive absences, and 84 warning letters were sent to absent students over a three-week period. These numbers reflect the nature of the educational process at the university as a whole.
