Student Affairs Deanship Hosts Meeting for New Students

The Student Affairs Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota held a general meeting on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the main campus. The meeting was specifically organized for new undergraduate and graduate students.

During the gathering, Dr. Zainab Besiouni, the Director of the Student Affairs Deanship, delivered a welcoming speech to the new students. She, along with Ms. Amima Adel, the Director of Graduate Student Affairs, addressed all inquiries raised by the graduate students.

Mr. Sulaiman Maqbool, the Director of Undergraduate Student Affairs, also engaged with the new students, discussing various matters related to introducing the university. These matters included information about the colleges and their numbers, the academic system, the number of classrooms, the duration of study, policies regarding deferral, changes, and withdrawal, online learning, the electronic portal, the mobile application, joining university WhatsApp groups, curriculum, examination system, attendance policy, credits, activities, student affairs responsibilities, and university ethics.

It is worth noting that this meeting was conducted as part of the preparations for the summer semester, which commenced on April 20, 2024.
