Training Workshop on Student Portal Services

The Information Technology Deanship, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, held a training workshop titled "Exploring Student Portal Services and Familiarizing with the University Website." The workshop took place on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM Mecca time. 
The workshop was led by Dr. Abdulrahman Hamoud Qasem, the technical support officer for graduate studies at the IT Deanship, and Engineer Ali Mustafa, the deputy director of the IT Deanship. It covered essential topics including how to access the student portal, change passwords, update personal information, access course materials, and submit assignments. Participants also learned how to view their academic plans and download their university ID cards. 
Additionally, the workshop addressed how to submit graduation requests, the significance of the university website, methods of communication with university staff, and how to verify graduation documents and access the alumni page. This workshop aims to enhance students' awareness of the portal services and facilitate their usage.
