Dean of Academic Affairs: 42 Reports in a Week, and 504 in 12 Weeks
Dr. Youssef Al Hashmi, the Dean of Academic Affairs, stated, "The most significant accomplishments of our deanship in the second semester include warmly welcoming students and efficiently organizing the distribution of courses among the esteemed professors. The semester featured a total of 280 courses across various disciplines and academic levels, with the involvement of at least 250 specialized faculty members."
Dr. Al Hashmi added, "We closely monitored the Curriculum and Study Plans Unit, a part of the deanship, to prepare the academic courses. Additionally, we supervised the Audiovisual Rooms Unit to set up links for each lecture. The number of lectures per week exceeded 280. We also monitored the educational process for all departments through daily reports submitted by department secretaries. Furthermore, we conducted field visits to lectures at different times to assess the quality of the academic process. Subsequently, weekly reports were submitted by the distinguished members of the Academic Affairs deanship team. We issue 42 weekly reports, overseeing both the postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Over 12 academic weeks, a total of 504 reports were generated, distributed weekly to the deans of colleges and department heads. These reports serve as valuable feedback for college deans and department heads."
