Training Center Organizes Five Diverse Events During July

The month of July 2024 witnessed a remarkable activity by the Center for Training, Development, and Community Programs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, where the center organized five diverse events between interactive lectures, training courses, and workshops.

  • Training Course on Fundamentals of Scientific Research Writing:

In cooperation with the Scientific Research Unit, the center organized a training course entitled "Fundamentals of Scientific Research Writing: The Research Thesis" on Sunday, June 30, and Tuesday, July 2, 2024 presented by Professor Hanan Sabhi Obeid and Dr. Asaad Al-Fahd. The course dealt with the research scope of the thesis, learning outcomes, how to write the introduction and conclusion, documenting references and scientific sources, choosing the research methodology, results, and recommendations.

  • Training Course on Technical Training: 

The center hosted Engineer Muhammad Abdul Jawad, Director of the Virtual Rooms and Acoustics Unit, to present a training course on "Technical Training: Zoom Program, and Google Drive - Cloud Storage" on Sunday, July 7, and Tuesday, July 9, 2024. The course targeted new doctors, new and non-new students, and all interested persons from inside and outside the university.

  • Interactive Lecture on Social Communication Skills:

The center cooperated with the College of Arts and Humanities to present an interactive lecture entitled "Social Communication Skills" on Sunday, July 21, 2024 delivered by Dr. Bahauddin Khalaf Allah. The lecture addressed the importance of effective communication in building personal and professional relationships.

  • Interactive Lecture on the Rules of Solving Family Problem:

In cooperation with the College of Educational Sciences, the center held an interactive lecture entitled "Prophetic Rules in Solving Family Problems" on Thursday, July 18, 2024 delivered by Dr. Abdullah Abdul Nabi, Dean of the College. The lecture dealt with the foundations of solving family problems from an Islamic perspective.

  • Training Workshop on Problem-Solving Skills:

Under the auspices of the center, Dr. Mukhlal Saad Al-Mutairi presented a training workshop entitled "Problem-Solving Skills" on Thursday, July 25, 2024. The workshop targeted students from inside and outside the university and all interested persons.

  • Important Recommendations: 

Professor Hanan Sabhi Obaid recommended the necessity of establishing governance and strategic planning in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, involving all levels of human resources in the strategic planning committees, and providing specialized training courses in governance and strategic planning for relevant employees.

  • The Training Center is accustomed to hosting Engineer Mohammed Abduljawad at the beginning of each semester to provide training courses on distance learning technologies.
