Workshop on "Standards and Requirements for Building University Curriculum"


 

A successful training workshop titled "Standards and Requirements for Building University Curriculum" was held at the Islamic University of Minnesota. The Training and Development Center, in collaboration with the Curriculum and Planning Unit of the university, organized the workshop. Dr. Mohammed Habib Al-Samkari delivered the lecture during the workshop, which took place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mecca time.

The workshop targeted faculty members of the university and was conducted exceptionally well. Eng. Al-Mu'tasem Faez, the General Manager of the Training Center, described the workshop as "more than excellent" and expressed his gratitude to Dr. Al-Samkari and Dr. Zainab Ali Bassiouni, the Director of the Curriculum and Planning Unit, for preparing and coordinating the workshop.

Dr. Bassiouni expressed her satisfaction with the success of the workshop, describing it as "fantastic." Important details were provided to faculty members to assist them in the process of curriculum design. Bassiouni praised the efforts of Al-Mu'tasim and the Training Center team in organizing the workshop excellently.

Al-Mu'tasem announced that the Training Center team had collected the registration links for the workshop in a single link, which was published on the university's official website. Additionally, another link was provided to download the workshop materials in PDF format on Google Drive, in response to the request of faculty members who benefited from the workshop.

This workshop is considered a valuable addition to the university, contributing to enhancing the quality of education and developing the capabilities of faculty members in building university curricula.
