Training Center Conducts Training Course on Using Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Education and Training

The Training, Development, and Community Programs Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, organized a specialized training course titled “Using Technology and Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Education and Training” from January 4 to 6, 2026, as part of the center’s programs aimed at enhancing digital competencies and advancing the skills of professionals in education and training.

The three-day course, held in the evenings, was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Yasser Al-Malek Ahmed Sulaiman, Head of the Department of Computer Science at the College of Computers and Information Technology, who covered a range of practical topics on employing modern technology and artificial intelligence in educational and training processes.

The course focused on using technological tools in teaching and training, leveraging AI applications to access and utilize information effectively, equipping teachers and trainers with computer and multimedia skills, and preparing training materials according to modern scientific and methodological standards.

The sessions witnessed active participation from faculty members, teachers, trainers, and those interested in artificial intelligence in education. Participants had the opportunity to discuss practical applications, address challenges associated with using technology in teaching, and benefit from the expertise shared during the course.

This training course is part of the ongoing efforts of the Training, Development, and Community Programs Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota – Main Center, to support digital transformation in education, strengthen collaboration with the academic community, and build educational and training capacities capable of meeting the demands of the digital age.
