Undergraduate Unit: 98% of Lectures Successfully Delivered
The Undergraduate Student Affairs Unit, affiliated with the Student Affairs Deanship, held a meeting chaired by the unit's director, Mr. Suleiman Maqbool, with the attendance of department heads and their deputies. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate performance in the second semester, discuss challenges, and propose appropriate solutions.
The meeting covered the unit's preparations for the summer semester, including the implementation of the 7th training session for department heads and assistants as part of the qualification and training program. Other activities included a meeting between department heads and assistants with the unit director, preparation for a workshop for new students in the summer semester to familiarize them with the academic system's electronic portal, and a review of the academic records for 867 existing students (excluding new students) to address any discrepancies in the monitoring process.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the documentation of each student's courses (completed and outstanding), welcoming 76 new students for the summer semester and providing them with everything needed to prepare for the start of classes.
The meeting also discussed the completion of a report on the unit's achievements during the second semester, consisting of 70 sections with various subpoints. Notably, the report highlighted the completion of 1,656 lectures across all departments, with a 98% success rate, totaling 1,616 lectures delivered directly.
