Sada Al-Jamea Newspaper Releases 16th Issue: University News and Activities
Sada Al-Jamea newspaper has released its 16th issue for the month of March 2024. The issue consists of twelve pages, in addition to an English-language supplement comprising eight pages.
The issue and supplement include a range of university news. Highlights include the reception of a delegation from the Turkish Higher Education Council by the Vice Chancellor, the announcement of the completion of the second semester exams, and the continuation of registration for the summer semester in 29 departments until the 15th of Shawwal.
The issue features a report on virtual chamber activities during the second semester, as well as an article about Hanan Mukhtar's meeting with Sa'eedi Abdulkarim and the university ambassadors in some countries. It also announces the appointment of Osama Awf as the Dean of Academic Affairs, succeeding Youssef Al-Hashimi. Other news items include the meeting of the Faculty of Economics Council and an extensive meeting of the university's administrative staff, as well as a meeting of the Department of Educational Sciences Council. Furthermore, the inauguration of the Graduate Affairs Association, the publication of legal circulars on complaints and suggestions issued by the Legal Affairs Administration, and a meeting of the Department of Arabic Language Council were announced. The Director of the Scientific Research Unit was invited to benefit from the "Zad Al-Baheeth" research library, and Norhan Salama was appointed as the Deputy Dean of Faculty Affairs. The newspaper also includes regular sections such as "Dean's Interview," which features an interview with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Professor Ismail Hamed Ismail Ali. It also contains a special page for postgraduate news in collaboration with the Director of the Graduate Studies Center. The newspaper also features a dedicated section for student and cultural activities, where news about competitions, events, and activities involving students is published. Additionally, it includes sections for articles and scientific research, where various articles and research papers in different fields are published by faculty members and students.
