Sada Al-Jamea: Issue 19 Released with Increased Page Count
The nineteenth issue of Sada Al-Jamea, the official newspaper of the Islamic University of Minnesota, has been released with an increase in page count from 12 to 16 pages. The issue also includes a 12-page English news supplement.
Highlights of the issue:
- The Vice President of the University's visit to the Turkish Parliament and his meeting with the First Assistant to the Speaker, Numan Kurtulmuş.
- The start of the first academic semester of the new academic year.
- The opening of the Early Childhood Education Department and the appointment of a Stanford University-certified counselor as its head.
- The opening of the College of Developmental Sciences and the appointment of Eddir Gheniat as its Dean and Mohamed Abdulaziz as its Vice Dean.
- Ismail Hamed representing the university at a scientific conference at the official invitation of the University of Basel in Switzerland.
- An expanded meeting of the university's administrative staff to review the preparations for the first semester of the new academic year.
- A meeting of the Islamic Studies Council chaired by Al-Bakri and attended by the Vice President.
- Awarding of doctorates to Faten Idris in Quran and its Sciences, Uqba Al-Haj in Business Administration, Fouad Al-Shehri in Family Reform, and Fahd Al-Ahmadi in Comparative Jurisprudence.
- Meetings of the faculty of the Department of Educational Administration, the Department of English Language, the Department of Educational Sciences, the Department of Islamic Studies in English, and the Department of Islamic Studies in Arabic.
- A seminar by Faiza Khattab to introduce the Political Qualification Course.
