Successful Lecture on Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals and the Quality of Scientific Research

In collaboration with the International Journal of Academic Studies, the Training and Development Center for Community Programs at the Islamic University of Minnesota organized a successful lecture titled "Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals: A Gateway to Ensuring the Quality of Scientific Research." The lecture was delivered by Professor Hanan Subhi Obaid, Head of the Graduate Studies Department at the College of Media and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Minnesota. It took place on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM Mecca time.

The lecture targeted faculty members, students from within and outside the university, and individuals interested in the subject of peer-reviewed journals. More than 250 participants attended the lecture via the Zoom application, according to information provided by Eng. Mu'tasem Faez, the General Manager of the center. The attendees represented researchers from various Arab and Islamic universities, respected doctors, experts in scientific research, and journal editors-in-chief.

Following the lecture, Eng. Mu'tasem Faez noted the positive response received. Many individuals contacted the center requesting the link to the International Journal of Minnesota, indicating a significant interest in further exploring the topic. He expressed deep gratitude to Professor Hanan Subhi Obaid for her valuable contributions and wished her continued success in her future endeavors.
