Islamic University Achieves Global Recognition and Expands Its Centers and Colleges

The Islamic University of Minnesota has achieved global recognition and overcome numerous challenges, continuing with unwavering determination and resolve to fulfill its noble mission and vision of delivering the message of knowledge and education to the world, aiming to be among the leading global universities.

This was stated by His Excellency the Vice President of the Islamic University of Minnesota and Head of the Main Center, Dr. Omar Ahmed Al-Maqrami, in a post on his Facebook page.

Dr. Al-Maqrami emphasized that the university has become a destination for students from all corners of the world, and a hub for researchers and academics.

He added that the university comprises over 400 faculty members from the most distinguished academic and scientific figures, and nearly three thousand students from various nationalities and diverse specializations. It encompasses eight colleges and more than thirty-six specialized departments offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs. Supporting deanships, administrative units, research centers, academic, media, and training centers surround it, all serving this university and its members.

Dr. Al-Maqrami pointed out that the university has made significant progress in the electronic field, establishing an integrated electronic system, a dedicated educational application, and a website with thousands of pages. It continues to strive to digitize educational services according to the latest advanced electronic systems.

The Vice President attributed these achievements to "the grace of Allah Almighty, first and last, His guidance, and His generosity," and then to "the efforts of all members of this blessed scientific edifice, from administrative, academic, and technical staff, who work day and night with love, dedication, patience, and responsibility."

He expressed "his sincere gratitude and appreciation to each individual and staff member of this university without exception," describing them as "the apple of its eye, its crown, which it takes pride in at every gathering." He asked Allah "to make all their efforts a balance of their good deeds and a treasure for them in this world and the hereafter."

The Head of the Main Center concluded his post by saying: "We will proceed together, with God's permission, with this blessed scientific edifice with all our enthusiasm and determination, to reach the desired goal with Allah's help, to be a beacon of knowledge and a shining sun amidst this world shrouded in darkness. Let us all participate in carrying the torch of light, raising the banner of knowledge and education, and conveying the eternal message of Islam to the worlds."

It is worth noting that this post by Dr. Al-Maqrami comes in line with the echoes of the university's celebrations for the launch of the (Center for Academic Studies), joining four previous centers affiliated with the university. It also comes on the eve of the opening of the (College of Development Sciences) to join seven previous colleges that form the core of the university's academic system.
