Sixth Issue of the Minnesota International Journal of Academic Studies Published

The Islamic University of Minnesota, main center released the sixth issue of the second volume of the peer-reviewed quarterly journal, the Minnesota International Journal of Academic Studies, on Tuesday, July 6, 2024. This issue corresponds to June 2024.

The 258-page issue features ten peer-reviewed articles in various fields, including education, literature, administration, history, and culture. These articles were written by 15 researchers: two from Palestine, two from Sudan, two from Qatar, two from Egypt, two from Yemen, two from Iraq, and one each from the United States, Jordan, and the United Kingdom.

The first article, titled "Challenges Facing the Teaching of Arabic to Non-Native Speakers and Proposed Strategies," was authored by four researchers: Professor Hanan Sobhi Obaid from theUnited Kingdom, Associate Professor Dr. Taqi Al-Din Abdulbasit Al-Tamimi from Palestine, Assistant Professor Dr. Badi'a Sulaiman Ali from Sudan, and Dr. Abdo Nasr al-Silani from Yemen.

The second article, the only one published in English, is titled "The Impact of Learners' Online Oral Presentations in Developing EFL Distance Learners' Speaking Skills: Learners' Perspective." This research was conducted by Ali Ahmed Suleiman from Sudan.

The third article, titled "The Implicit Cultural Systems in Hayat Amin's Novel 'Pearls from Rubble,'" was written by Dr. Abdo Abdulkarim Abdullah Maqbool from Yemen. The fourth article, titled "Iraqi Universities and the Culture of Tolerance: Roles and Impacts," was authored by researcher Professor Zaher Mohsen Hani al-Jubouri from Iraq. The fifth article, titled "Artificial Intelligence and Its Uses in Education: The State of Qatar as a Model," was written by three researchers: Dr. Fatima Abdulrahman al-Maraghi from Qatar, Dr. Mohammed Raed Al-Mousili  from Jordan, and Dr. Khair Yahya Musaleha from the United States.

The sixth article, titled "The Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Job Performance: A Case Study of a Government Organization in the State of Qatar," was authored by Dr. Thamer Mohammed Maharmeh from Qatar. The seventh article, titled "The Practices of the Strategic Planning Manager and Their Impact on the Efficiency of Modern Institutions - An Analytical Study," was written by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Kamal Shaaban from Egypt. The eighth article, titled "The Role of Heritage Industries in Preserving Nubian Identity from the Perspective of Teamwork," was authored by Ahmed Mahmoud Hassan Bakkar from Egypt. The ninth article, titled "The Religious Reformation Movement in Europe 1517-1648: The Lutheran Movements as a Model," was written by Professor Yusuf Abbas Niama from Iraq. Finally, the tenth article, titled "The Pioneering Role of Hassan bin Al-Nu'man al-Azdi in the Conquest and Arabization of Morocco - A Descriptive Analytical Study 73H/692M - 85H/704M," was authored by Professor Yusuf Abbas Niama from Iraq.
