Dean of the College of Development Studies Chairs College Council Meeting

Minnesota, August 26, 2024 - The College of Development Studies Council at the Islamic University of Minnesota held a meeting chaired by the College Dean, Professor Dr. Eidur Ghniat, on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Dean Eidur Ghniat welcomed the new Associate Dean, Professor Abdullah Al-Wazzan, as well as the rest of the College Council members at the start of the meeting. He expressed his gratitude to the University Vice President and Head of the Main Center, Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami, his Deputy Dr. Zinab Basiouni, the Dean of Faculty Affairs Dr. Marwan Bataineh, and Dr. Mohammed Abdulaziz, whom he wished a speedy recovery.

The Council discussed several important topics, including presenting the College's vision, commitment to delivering lectures, educational process requirements, a proposal to establish a peer-reviewed scientific journal specific to the College, make-up lectures, and other related issues.

The meeting witnessed the participation of the new Associate Dean, Professor Abdullah Al-Wazzan, who introduced himself and extended greetings and thanks to everyone, especially Dean Ghniat.
