Signing of Cooperation Agreement

In a continuation of the procedures for signing a joint agreement between Minnesota Islamic University in the United States and Prince Muqrin University in Medina, Saudi Arabia, Professor Waleed bin Idis Al-Menisee, President of Minnesota Islamic University, visited Prince Muqrin University to activate the cooperation agreement focused on teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. This collaboration aims to establish joint programs in this field and to train Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers.

During his visit, Professor Al-Menisee met with Prince Muqrin University President, His Excellency Professor Bandar Hajjar (former Minister of Hajj), and His Excellency Professor Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Director of the Arabic Language Center at Prince Muqrin University (former President of Islamic University in Medina). 

Additionally, Professor Al-Menisee visited the Makkah International Center for Quranic Guidance in Makkah to further activate the previously signed cooperation agreement between the center and Islamic University of Minnesota.

Notably, upon his return to the United States on Sunday, October 27, 2024, corresponding to 24 Rabi' al-Thani 1446 AH, the President described his visit to the two holy mosques as "blessed" in a post on his official Facebook page, which included several photos and videos from his trip.
