Dr. Zeinab Ali Basyouni, Deputy Vice President of the Islamic University of Minnesota, stressed during the reception ceremony for new students on Thursday, November 13, 2024, that the university administration and its academic staff are fully aware of their responsibility in promoting the university's identity and culture. She pointed out the importance of working as a team to achieve this goal, saying: "We believe in your abilities and endeavor to provide a stimulating learning environment that supports your excellence and innovation."

Dr. Basyouni expressed her hope that everyone who works at the university will be a key building block in building the university's educational edifice. She praised the importance of effort and diligence in achieving success, stressing that every challenge facing students is an opportunity to learn.

She also prayed that the semester will be distinguished, stressing the need to start it with a spirit of optimism and determination to achieve the desired goals. She encouraged students to take advantage of the activities and scientific courses offered by the university, noting their role in honing skills and opening new horizons for science and knowledge.

The Deputy Vice President emphasized that the Islamic University of Minnesota is considered one of the most prestigious international universities, and offers students not only information, but also the necessary skills to achieve lifelong knowledge.

At the end of her speech, Dr. Basyouni called on students to take responsibility as part of the educational process, stressing the need to have values and morals that reflect their scientific status. She thanked everyone for their attendance and wished them success.
