Dean of College of Media Issues Decisions to Enhance Educational Process

Professor Abdulsalam Al-Wahati, Dean of the College of Media at the Islamic University of Minnesota, has issued a series of decisions that include appointing several staff members to leadership roles within the college, aimed at improving the educational process and fostering excellence and creativity.
The Dean announced the addition of new faculty members, including Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Abdlqader, Dr. Yaseen Basheer Yaseen, Dr. Nouran Saeed Hamed, Dr. Nabeel Bou Jumaa Marah, Mr. Mahmoud Shafie Farhan, Mr. Al-Sayed Hamed, and Ms. Rehab Said Abduladhim. The decisions also included restructuring the college council and the advisory council by incorporating new leadership.
Additionally, several faculty members have been appointed to leadership positions that will enhance the educational process, leveraging their expertise and strategic vision to develop media programs and stimulate innovation and scientific research. Dr. Mariyan Tadras has been appointed as the Deputy Head of the Graduate Studies Department, Ms. Basant Ahmed Labeeb as the Director of Public Relations in the Dean's Office, and Ms. Rehab Said Abduladhim as the Director of the Dean's Office.
Professor Al-Wahati affirmed that the college operates within an integrated system, guided by a clear vision and methodology aligned with the university's strategy, aimed at elevating both academic and administrative standards. He emphasized the importance of keeping pace with scientific and technological developments, urging college staff to exert more effort to support the college and university's mission.
The Dean also called on the new staff members to fully comply with the regulations and laws governing the college, and to work diligently to achieve tangible results that contribute to maintaining the institutional excellence of the college and the university in educational, research, and administrative areas. He pointed out that the new staff will undergo training courses to enhance their skills in the teaching methods employed by the college and the university.
He clarified that the selection of new leadership was based on a strategic vision focused on competence, experience, and academic excellence, aimed at supporting educational quality and enhancing the development of scientific research and its programs.
