Second Issue of Islamic Studies Journal Released

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the second issue (June 2025) of the "Islamic Studies Journal" was published. This peer-reviewed scientific journal is issued by the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main campus.
The journal, comprising 137 pages, includes three research articles: the first titled "The Evolution of the Philosophy of the Concept of State – A Critical Comparative Study" by Dr. Khalaf Mohammed Metwalli Nassar from Egypt; the second titled "Exile from One's Homeland in Light of the Holy Quran" by Dr. Nahed Al-Taher Ahmed Mohammed from Sudan; and the third titled "Educational Thought of Imam Burhan al-Din Al-Zarnuji – A Subjective Study" by Mr. Dhawqan Ahmed Said Obaidat from Jordan.
It is noteworthy that the journal is edited by Dr. Abdulrazeq Al-Bakri, an associate professor in the Department of Quranic Studies and Sciences, who is also the Dean of the College of Islamic Studies. The position of Deputy Editor is held by Dr. Ahmed Labib, an associate professor in the Department of Islamic Studies in English. The secretariat is managed by Dr. Majed Al-Salmi, an assistant professor in the Department of Islamic Studies in Arabic. The journal also has an advisory board consisting of five academics and a scientific committee comprising another five members.
