University Administration Reaffirms Commitment to Academic Neutrality and Scientific Standards
The administration of the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center has renewed its firm commitment to academic work based on pure university education and adherence to approved scientific and professional standards, in line with the university's mission and educational objectives.
This came in a message sent by Dr. Zainab Basyouni, Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, to faculty members, in which she emphasized that the university is an independent academic institution, with education as its mission, knowledge as its compass, and the preparation of scientifically and professionally conscious students as its goal, without adopting any religious, political, or ethnic orientations, ideas, or agendas outside the academic framework.
The message clarified that this approach represents the foundation upon which all university programs, courses, and educational practices are based, affirming the commitment to safeguarding the academic environment from any influences that do not serve the scientific mission, and to consolidating the values of professionalism and objectivity in the educational process.
Dr. Basyouni praised the significant efforts made by faculty members, affirming that their dedication of time, knowledge, and effort represents beneficial knowledge with lasting impact and great value, embodying the essence of the mission upon which everyone at the university agrees. She pointed out that this sincere dedication is the source of the university's true strength and the guarantee of its continuity.
