The Minnesota International Journal of Academic Studies, a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Islamic University of Minnesota, USA, has released Volume 3 - Issue (12). It examines the spatial pattern of diabetes spread in Basra Governorate and proposes frameworks for strategic planning to mitigate it. The study relied on analyzing registered data from 2015 to 2022, using advanced statistical tools to map the disease's spread and analyze influencing environmental and personal factors.

In the field of Media and Public Opinion Studies, the issue presents an in-depth study on the factors influencing the formation of public opinion in Yemen. Employing a descriptive-analytical methodology on a sample of 400 respondents from ten districts in the Secretariat of the Capital, Sana'a, the study concluded the pivotal role of cultural, religious, and social factors. It also highlighted the significant impact of media and "breaking news" on mobilizing and directing public opinion.

The issue dedicated space to topics in English Language Teaching and Educational Measurement. It included recent critical reviews of Krashen's Input Hypothesis and explorations into the role of the mother tongue in second language acquisition. The issue also discussed research on formative assessment among EFL teachers, innovative educational programs based on "Habits of Mind" for developing speaking skills, alongside studies on problem-based learning.
