College of Economics Launches Journal and Prepares for Second Semester

In a new step aimed at enhancing scientific research, the College of Economics and Business Administration has invited researchers to contribute their research to the Journal of Economics and Business Administration. The college has completed the necessary legal and technical procedures to initiate the publication of the journal and has required interested researchers to submit their research through the designated email, aiqtisad@ium.edu.so.

This new achievement has been appreciated by the dean of the college, Dr. Sherine Mamoun. The journal has been licensed under the name "Journal of Economics and Business Administration," and Dr. Sherine Mamoun has been appointed as the editor-in-chief, while Dr. Hiyam Sami Ahmed Al-Zu'bi has been appointed as the editorial secretary. The editorial board and advisory committee include experts from Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, in addition to a group of distinguished reviewers.

On another note, the dean of the college, Dr. Sherine Mamoun, expressed the college's readiness to receive the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024. Timetables have been prepared, and future plans have been made to develop the work in the college. The Audiovisual Unit has also been involved in preparing the schedules for the second semester through Google Drive.

The dean highlighted that the college has completely finished the activities of the first semester, including the submission of all final exam files to the different departments. These files have been shared with the Control Unit through Google Drive in collaboration with the Administrative Affairs Unit.

Dr. Sherine expressed her satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the final exams at the college, the excellent attendance of the students, and their evident commitment to their studies. The grades for the costs and final exams have been recorded by the faculty members at the college. She expressed gratitude to the department heads for their diligent follow-up to ensure the success of the educational process, and she thanked the faculty members, administrative units, supporting deanships, department secretaries, and assistants for their accurate and continuous monitoring of the exam proceedings.
