Deanship of Graduate Studies Approves PhD Research Plan

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University in Minnesota, Main Center, College of Arts and Humanities, Department of Arabic Language and Literature, has issued a decision approving the research plan submitted by student Tanweer Hussain, supervised by Hussain Musharraf, to obtain a doctoral degree.

The research plan is titled "Contextual Meanings of Some Words in the Holy Quran: The Form of the Doer and Its Impact on Acquiring Arabic as a Foreign Language for English Speakers - The Islamic School in New York as a Model".

The approval of the research plan came after a seminar session held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 7:00 PM Mecca time, to discuss the plan. The committee for the discussion consisted of Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Awf, the head of the department of Arabic Language and Literature, and members of the committee, Dr. Taher Fayez, Dr. Ali El-Shboul, and Dr. Asmaa Al-Bashir.
