College of Education Discusses Concerns and Aspirations

The Dean of the College of Education, Professor Abdullah Abdulnabi, held a meeting with the members of the College Council on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The meeting discussed the progress of the examinations for the summer semester, preparations for the first semester, in addition to a number of concerns and aspirations of the college.

The Head of the Department of Educational Psychology, Dr. Anas Nawafleh, confirmed that the examinations are proceeding smoothly and easily. The Head of the Department of Educational Sciences, Professor Marwan Zaid Bataineh, presented a proposal to establish a psychological unit in the college in cooperation with three departments: Educational Psychology, Family Guidance, and Educational Sciences. The Head of the Department of Educational Administration, Dr. Heba Abu Ayada, discussed the issue of promotions with the Dean and submitted a draft proposal in this regard. Dr. Mohammed Hosni, Head of the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods, also discussed a proposal regarding the reserve exam, which aims to take into account the pressure on faculty members.

In addition to the Dean of the College, the meeting was attended by Dr. Anas Nawafleh, Head of the Department of Educational Psychology, Professor Marwan Zaid Bataineh, Head of the Department of Educational Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Hosni, Head of the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods, Dr. Heba Abu Ayada, Head of the Department of Educational Administration, and Dr. Nourhan Salama, Head of Administrative Affairs at the College.

The meeting discussed a number of concerns and aspirations of the college, including: Establishing a psychological unit in the college, promotions, reserve exam, and pressure on faculty members.
