Head of Department of Creed Holds Official Meeting

Minnesota - As part of the preparations for the summer semester, Dr. Imad Abdu Al-Ojaili, the head of the Department of Creed and Contemporary Sects at the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, held an official meeting with faculty members in the department at the main center. Several important topics were discussed during the meeting.

Firstly, Al-Ojaili welcomed the attending faculty members and expressed his gratitude for their efforts in the department. He then began discussing the timing of lectures in the summer semester, including scheduling and the appropriate distribution of time for lectures and discussions.

Al-Ojaili also addressed the issue of supervising scientific dissertations and emphasized the importance of distributing supervision equally among all faculty members in the department, based on a decision by the College Council. Additionally, a plan was discussed to organize seminars related to the department and enhance participation in the preparation of training courses, lectures, and workshops, and to collaborate with the Community Training and Development Center.

In the context of development, proposals were discussed to enhance the Department of Creed and Contemporary Sects, whether through updating the used references, changing the department's name, or expanding the available resources for the material taught in the department.

At the end of the meeting, Al-Ojaili provided an opportunity for faculty members to raise any additional issues or inquiries.
