Agreement: Joint Cooperation Agreement with the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences – Sudan
Agreement Summary:
It was agreed between the first party, the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences – Sudan, represented by Professor Ahmed Saeed Salman, University Director, and the second party, the Islamic University of Minnesota – USA, represented by Professor Walid bin Idris Al-Menisi, University President, to strengthen scientific and research cooperation and capacity building in service of the shared mission. The agreement was signed on 19 November 2020.
Beneficiaries of the Agreement:
Students, faculty members, and graduates of both universities.
Areas of Joint Cooperation:
- Integration and development of academic activities.
- Exchange of faculty members in available specializations and exchange and development of curricula.
- Sharing expertise in scientific activities, peer review of research, and discussion of postgraduate theses.
- Organizing conferences, seminars, and scientific workshops.
- Conducting joint research serving the strategic issues of the Ummah.
- Exchange of knowledge and visits.
- Publishing research in peer-reviewed journals.
- Qualification and training of human resources.
Duration of the Agreement:
The agreement is valid for 5 years from the date of signing and may be renewed for the same or similar periods unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
