The agreement was signed on 14/03/2023 by Dr. Omar Ahmed Al-Maqrami, Vice-Rector of the Islamic University of Minnesota, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Majoud, Director of Taheri Mohamed University – Béchar, Algeria, during a signing ceremony.
Objectives of the Agreement:
To achieve fruitful cooperation and joint work in the fields of education and scientific research, and to support developmental, training, and cultural programs agreed upon.
Areas of Cooperation:
- Scientific research.
- Academic exchange programs.
- Training and professional development.
- Organizing and holding specialized conferences, seminars, and workshops agreed upon by both parties, with invitations and participation exchanged in an organized manner by the specialists from both parties.
- Exchange of knowledge, research, and studies, including curricula, publications, data, information, programs, training resources, and trainers.
- Recognition of higher education studies, degrees, and professional qualifications granted by either university.
- Issuing certificates for partial studies related to developmental, training, and cultural programs accredited by both parties.
Beneficiaries of the Agreement:
Students, faculty members, and graduates of both universities.
Duration of the Agreement:
The agreement remains in effect for 5 years from the date of signing, with the possibility of renewal by written consent of both parties.
