Joint Cooperation Agreement with the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences – Sudan
Agreement Summary:
An agreement was made between the Islamic University of Minnesota – USA and the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences – Sudan to establish joint cooperation and mutual collaboration at the academic and research levels. The agreement was signed on November 19, 2020, by the first party: Professor Abkar Abdel-Banat Adam Ibrahim, Director of the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences – Sudan, and the second party: Professor Waleed bin Idris Al-Munisi, President of the Islamic University of Minnesota.
Beneficiaries of the Agreement:
Students, faculty members, and graduates from both universities.
Fields of Joint Cooperation between the Two Universities:
- Exchange of faculty members in the available specialties and exchange of expertise in scientific activities, research evaluation, and supervision of graduate students’ theses.
- Both universities exchange faculty members to attend conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Exchange of knowledge, studies, and publications, including scientific journals and periodicals, and participation in research peer-review.
- Utilization of each party’s expertise in strategic planning and quality, with mutual exchange of consultations, knowledge, and innovative methods to develop scientific, academic, administrative, and technical performance, enhancing capacities and resources, and taking all necessary measures to facilitate this for both parties.
Duration of the Agreement:
The agreement is valid for five (5) years from the date of signing and may be renewed for similar periods unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
