Agreement: Joint Cooperation Agreement with Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University – Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

An understanding was reached between the First Party: Islamic University of Minnesota – USA, represented by the University President Prof. Walid bin Idris Al-Menisi, and the Second Party: Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University – Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Dr. Aisha Al-Ayafi Al-Sharif, Director of International Students & Donors Relations and Acting Director of Public Relations, to establish joint cooperation between them. The agreement was signed in the United States of America on September 24, 2024, by both parties.

Beneficiaries of the Agreement:

Students and faculty members of both universities.

Areas of Cooperation:

• Exchange visits between the administrations of the two universities and between faculty members of both universities.
• The Second Party provides a number of study seats for some students of the First Party wishing to learn Arabic within Arabic programs for non-native speakers.
• The Second Party provides a number of study seats for some students of the First Party wishing to pursue undergraduate studies for one academic year or more after prior arrangement.
• Possibility of offering some courses remotely to students of either university through the other university’s instructors.
• Establishing joint programs between the two universities in teaching Arabic to native speakers and in training teachers of Arabic for non-native speakers.
• Possibility of organizing scientific conferences and workshops in the United States in partnership between the two universities.
• Possibility of converting this memorandum into a permanent agreement between the two universities and developing it to include more clauses.
